March 27–30
On March 30, the Leipzig Book Fair concluded, which was attended by 296,000 people over four days. In five pavilions, 2,040 participants from 45 countries presented their books and projects. The fair traditionally took place alongside the Manga-Comic-Con, and the special guest this year was Norway with the focus theme "Dream in Spring" (Traum im Frühling). March 31 – April 3
From March 31 to April 3, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair took place – one of the key book events in Europe. The specific feature of the fair is that it is closed to visitors under 18 years old – it is a purely professional event. For publishers, it is an opportunity to conduct negotiations, buy and sell book rights, meet partners, listen to professional discussions, and agree on cooperation with cultural institutions worldwide. This year, the fair was attended by 33,318 industry representatives. At the exhibition venues, 1,577 exhibitors from approximately 95 countries and regions presented their books. May 15–18
From May 15 to 18, the International Book Fair in Warsaw took place. The honorary guest this year was South Korea. Ukraine was traditionally represented by a national stand organized by the Ukrainian Book Institute and a program of events. At the stand, books from 25 publishers were available for purchase, Ukrainian books in Polish translation were exhibited, and visitors could communicate with participants of the Ukrainian program.
