Since 2011, I have been working in the book publishing industry, where I found my vocation — promoting Ukrainian literature. I am a Master of Philology and translation officer. Since 2021, I have been working at the Ukrainian Book Institute, where I got the opportunity to do what I love on a large scale!

As a member of ENLIT (European Network for Literary Translation), I carry out international communication, coordinate the Institute's participation in international book events, coordinate the international grant literary projects, implement the Translate Ukraine translation support program, build the network with foreign colleagues to promote the translations of Ukrainian literature in the world.

This work allows me to do what I love the most - to tell the world about us! I get tremendous satisfaction and inspiration from the impressions of the world's literary community about Ukraine, our writers, our books, our struggle for independence, and from rethinking us in the world context.

Although my major is "economic cybernetics", I was drawn into the book industry immediately after the university (KNEU). My ten-year story with books began in 2000 with the publishing house "ArtEk" and advertising directories about enterprises. Then there was the powerful state publishing house "High School" - advertising department, sales department, and deputy director. I learned all the "professional features" of creating and selling a book right there. In my experience, there were also publishing houses "Alert" and "World of Success", and my own small publishing house-FOP, "Tochka" in Petrivka :)

But in 2010, I switched to another sphere - an IT worker in an educational institution. I headed various departments - from the administration of interbank payments (the university was a member of NSMEP) to the administration of various information systems in education. For a couple of years, I was a system administrator at one company.

And so in ten years, from 2021, my second "book story" began. I came to the Ukrainian Book Institute. And given my place and position, I have a small concrete dream: to finally introduce a single information system about books for publishers and bookstores, so that different formats in different Excel sheets become history. This is exactly what the "Books on the Market" project I am currently working on is about.

Things outside of work:

— I have a creative family (my wife is a singer and composer, People's Artist of Ukraine, publishes her books - song collections; the eldest daughter is an actress, the youngest is a future choreographer of modern dance);

— since 2014 I have been a part of the volunteer movement;

— my hobby is history (documentaries, books).
